Four Reasons to Attend the Global Leadership Summit

You don’t want to miss this year’s “Global Leadership Summit.” Mark the dates… August 9th and 10th. A church in your region may be hosting it, but we are also streaming it at the Conference Office in Portland. I would love to have you join me for this summit. At the end of this blog, I have the link for you to register.

This year the theme is Everyone has Influence. Each of us impacts others in the community and world we live. There may be times you are even unaware of it. That’s why we need to grow and lead by example.

Here are four reasons you should attend this year’s summit.

1. The Training.
Leaders are learners! This is an excellent opportunity to grow. Learning at the Summit has often been compared to drinking from a fire-hose. It is two days of meaningful, inspiring, leadership input. You can join with more than 400,000 people around the world who will be part of this training.

2. The Presenters.
The Summit brings together world-class teachers. This year’s speakers include Erwin MacManus (Mosaic) John Maxwell (Leadership author) and Craig Groeschel ( Every one of the teachers has been extremely effective in their ministry and/or area of business. For the complete list of presenters click here.

3. The Relationships.
We get a chance to spend time with each other. One of the joys of being part of the Conference is our friendships. During lunch and breaks, you’ll have the ability to talk to other Conference pastors and leaders. It’s a unique opportunity to contextualize your learning with others who share your values, beliefs, and quite possibly, your struggles.

4. The Impact.
Over the years, I’ve attended and/or watched this Leadership summit. It is always a game-changer! I’d encourage you to bring a team with you…at least one other person. A team of Christ-centered leaders can make a real difference in our churches, businesses, and communities. Our time together can give new hope and a fresh perspective for all of us.

There’s still time to register! If you are a volunteer, business person, a leader or pastor in the Pacific Conference, we invite you to join us at the Conference Office (our Valley View Church in Clackamas).

Click here and use code PV2018. Lunch each day is included with your registration. It a great value for two days packed with learning!  Hope you can make it this year!
