Hello from Israel! We just completed our first full day in Israel. We started at 7:30 AM in Netanya and got to our hotel here in Tiberius at 6:30 PM. It’s amazing how much you can see, learn, and experience in 11 hours. If you haven’t been following you can go to holylandtripblog and catch our daily blogs.
LET’S TALK
Here are three things I’m praying for during these coming days in Israel:
- That the Bible will come alive.
First, I pray that we will gain a new love and appreciation for God’s Word. Our guide, Malcolm Cartier, really knows his Bible along with history and archeology. I’ve told our group it’s like drinking water from a fire hydrant. There is so much to see and learn at each stop we make.
- That we will draw closer to God. I’m praying for a moment for every person when we se
nse God’s presence in a special way. It may be on the Sea of Galilee or at the Garden Tomb or back in their hotel room. A time where Jesus meets us and speaks to us in a very personal way.
- That we will be healthy and safe. Trying different foods and the stress of travel can be hard on our bodies but we want to be able to fully take in all the sights and activities.
